Sump Pump Records was founded in 1998 by Dan Hutchison, Brian Wiksell and Bill Heard. We released a vinyl 7" EP for Why Make Clocks in 1998 and a full-length CD for Chad O'Neall in 2000...then we got preoccupied w/our bands.

Now, it's a 5 way partnership between Dan, Brian, Will Tarbox, Chuck Hoffman & Tom Reelitz releasing records w/a DIY approach, by ourselves and other bands we love.

Track Name: A New Misery
Exhumed into oblivion. White light pulsing before wide eyes. Beyond the void. Black beast burning bright. Black beast Spreading wings. Parting paradise. Heavenless toward smoke and sea of fire.
Track Name: Decay/Devolve
Feet drug under greying sky and burnt out sun, all thinly veiled horror of the waking world realized. Eyes open, terror clinched throat. Let the darkness overcome you (and death chill to bone). Welcome the beast into your soul.
Track Name: Burden
We may never bathe in those distant lights and we may never again let joy over take us, for the flame on the horizon has wilted and the world we've breed is grim. The beasts of broken promise stalk beneath street light, bearing broken teeth to the bitter truth of their trespass. (purge) Condemn and collapse. I'll write the manifests in gasoline so the world can share these scars.
Track Name: Grief
Track Name: Accumulation Of Loss
Cold weight crashing. Intervals of terror and clarity. Stale skin wraps bare bones. Dread run deep. Nerves wrecked. Sentiment spoiled, with rusted nail judas hope stretched over stagnant souls. Blinding lights flicker and fade. Woe, this cycle of you is (vicious).
Track Name: Blackout
Hysteria. Nothing will grow here. Skies have turned black, black as their gold. The worthless feed, feed on the rich. No one would listen, now they will pay. BLACKOUT. Authority. Falls in defeat. Now they will listen, now they will pay. Death will breathe destruction. BLACKOUT. (no one will be saved)
Track Name: Snake Charmer
Scorched Black. Paradise haze. Blessed by forgotten but never forgiven. Vision dulled. Labored black lungs. Bury me in smoke
Track Name: Bystander Affect
(Carnage and siren upon deaf ears. Violence to audience.) 38 blind and silent. 38 gagged by fear. (Aware and numb) Spite of sympathy (Aware and numb) Void of humanity. Eyes agape, lips sealed tight. Cowardice. Clean hands. Heroes behind plate glass. Even the faithful will shield all their light in the face of true darkness.
Track Name: Plague
Light seeks the suffering. Last rites for those dead and dying. Septic saints, aimless wonderers with eyes affixed to the skies. We sinners find darkness amassing underground like plague spreading through the roots of those casting first stones. Our hope is that of great leveling. Silence through extinction, us devils dig deeper humming songs of terror and tide. A dark age is upon us.
Track Name: Death Spell
(Hail and praise) with spit from split tongue. Cut wrist extends broken hand. Worship. Repent. Regress. Create and leave nothing. No future. No legacy. No past or present. Void of virtue. Betrayer of body. Reapers hand level you down. The world swallow you whole.
